timing is changed by rotating the CAS, which you won't touch changing the pulley. What you are thinking of, is being able to accurately time it later, if teh marks on teh pulley are off. If you check the timing with teh stock pulley, then with the underdrive pulley, you should be able to tell immediately if teh marks are off. If they are, note how much, and that value will never change. You can always adjust teh timing figure with this number from then on. It's not as easy as changing a flat, but it's not too bad. Borrow a pulley from a parts store for teh pulley. You will notice a difference. Not as much as a LWF, but enough to do the mod. If you have to do a 60K anytine soon, wait until then and do it all at once. You won't notice any change in your accessories.
